SDG Club Donation Event - Old Shoes, New Life

Aiming to recycle worn shoes from students at our school, the Sustainable Development Club (SDG), which I founded, held an event during the mid-game break of the “HFI Freshmen Basketball Challenge” to collect these shoes, focusing particularly on those from basketball players. The collected shoes will be sent to Nike for decomposition into materials that will be used to construct sports courts for primary schools in remote and rural areas. Finally, around 30 pairs of shoes were collected and sent to Nike with the help of students from HFI! This initiative not only promotes sustainability through material reutilization but also serves as a meaningful way to share our love for sports with students who face difficulties in pursuing their hobbies and aspirations.
